ATLAS (Adults Training Like AthleteS)
The ATLAS fitness program is designed to unlock the adult’s inner (or former) athlete. With athletic-based training, you can become more athletic, fit, and healthier at any age. The ATLAS program will incorporates total body movements and requires you to cross different planes of movements. In a comprehensive athletic workout, ATLAS will address the following components:
1. Strength Training: Using resistance to build muscle
2. Explosive Training
3. Core Training: Developing the core muscles that stabilize the spine & pelvis.
4. Cardio Training: Elevating the heart rate & getting the body used to breathing.
5. Speed & Agility Training: Incorporating lateral and liner movements to elevate the heart rate, develop body coordination, & build strength.
By participating in the ATLAS program, you will achieve a level of fitness that unlocks your inner athlete. You are never too old to start a fitness program. A4K-ATLAS is a community of like-minded affiliates who all share a common goal and purpose. Become more athletic and help others do the same.
